School is out, pools are open, and the weather is hot and humid. This is the time of the year lawns struggle and weeds thrive. Below are some common weeds we see this time of the year. Remember to mow higher in the Summer to cool off your lawn, reduce the amount of weeds/crabgrass, and also to promote a deeper root system. Preventing weeds with a thick lawn is the best natural defense. Plant grass seed in any bare/thin areas in September to help thicken up the lawn.
